Junk Drawers

Use cutlery trays to keep junk organized in the drawer, i.e. scissors & small tools in one section, extra keys in another section, stamps or address labels in another, etc. Occasionally, you can find trays just for junk drawers that have a sliding top section, which is even more efficient. Don't keep batteries and business cards in the junk drawer. Now it's not a junk drawer, it's a utility drawer!
